Implementing a worldwide platform for several years was one of the largest challenges we faced, and this tool company provided us with the opportunity and trust to do so. The end customer is a B2B industrial goods solution provider, with over 21 stores in all continents but Africa, and one store for each country. In order to satisfy business’ needs we got over 11 stores in under 3 weeks thanks to our planning and organization regarding development.
Configurable products, Datahub (old version of SCPI), Multicountry Solution from SAP Commerce to enable the configurable by country experience and SAP Sync Service to handle pricing outside of commerce are some of the areas in which we were able to deliver high quality development.
Where to begin with, infrastructure was one of the keys to a worldwide solution, payment solutions were depending on regions, media, and many integrations with different ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and proprietary systems were part of this amazing and challenging implementation we began 4 years ago. Complex products, pricing and stores translated into specific planification for every launch considering the speed required for the business for new stores and functionalities.
